Schools, colleges, universities (residence halls, athletic venues, hospitals, etc.) have significant food preparation and serving enterprises. NSF International -- founded at the University of Michigan in 1948 -- is one of the first names in the food safety domain. Standards setting committee meetings are hosted online frequently and open to the public.

Watersport Time Standards
Much like the safety and sustainability challenges of building a hockey rink in Michigan Stadium for 100,000 fans, it is easier to bring a 50-meter, 600,000 gallon, 5.5 million pound pool to a 70,000 person audience rather than the other way around. Thus, the USA Olympic Team Trials -- ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris - will be hosted at the Lucas Oil football stadium in downtown Indianapolis. NCAA D1 Championships take place in March.
